Linda Riordan (MP for Halifax)
A Labour Councillor for nine years and Co-operative Party member for eight, Linda is secretary and treasurer of the Calderdale branch of the Co-operative Party.
She has campaigned for local government to use co-operative ideas such as the transfer of council houses to social landlords, moving leisure services to a trust and foundation status for Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust.
