Mark Hendrick (MP for Preston)
Elected as Member of Parliament for Preston in the November 2000 by-election, Mark was Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Margaret Beckett, until 2005.
Prior to becoming an MP Mark served for eight years on the Salford City Council and was then elected as MEP for Lancashire Central.
