Electing the new National Youth Committee


The election for the National Youth Committee for 2013-2015 is currently underway, with Co-operative Party Youth candidates standing to be elected as representatives in each region.

The National Youth Committee is the executive of Co-operative Party Youth. There is a member elected for each of the English regions and one each for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. In addition the Youth NEC member sits on the committee. Members are responsible for creating and maintaining a vibrant Co-operative Party Youth presence within their region; for organising and promoting events; for driving membership; campaigning for Labour & Co-operative candidates and for forging good relations with other organisations within the Labour and Co-operative movements.
