Tell Theresa May: Bring back a national voice for tenants

Co-sign our letter asking the Prime Minister to bring back the National Tenant Voice to stand up for tenants in social housing

Yesterday the Prime Minister said in an interview on Channel 4 News that “The voice of social housing tenants doesn’t appear to have been heard on too many occasions. “We have got to find a way to make sure the voice of those people is heard.”

We agree.

That’s why today, Co-operative Party Chair Gareth Thomas wrote to Prime Minister Theresa May calling on her to immediately re-establish the National Tenant Voice – a body that was abolished in 2010 by the Conservative-Liberal Coalition Government of which she was a part.
