Co-operative Party Ltd – AGM 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Co-operative Party Ltd will take place on Saturday 17 October 2020 at 10.30am, online.
The business of the Annual Meeting will be to:
- Receive the revenue account and balance sheet for 2019
- Receive a report on the Party’s performance in the previous year
- Receive forward plans for the current year and the next two years
- Appoint financial auditors
- To adopt the following change to the Rules of Co-operative Party Ltd.
Delete:
10.6 Before a general meeting can do business there must be a quorum present. Except where these Rules say otherwise a quorum is delegates from 20 local parties or affiliate members, and one member of the National Executive Committee.
Insert:
10.6 Before a general meeting can do business there must be a quorum present. Except where these Rules say otherwise a quorum is delegates from 40% of local parties and affiliate members, and one member of the National Executive Committee

The AGM is open to delegates of all corporate members (Societies and affiliates) and Party Councils. There is no limit to the number of delegates you may appoint but only one nominated delegate will receive the link to cast the votes on behalf of your Party or Society. If you wish, you may nominate your Party or Society Secretary or other officer to receive the voting link.
Please register your delegates on this page, including the voting representative. All delegates attending the AGM must be individual members of the Co-operative Party.
