Apply now for the next Co-operative Councillor Development Weekend!

This year's development weekend will be held on 1st - 2nd November 2019 in central Manchester. This is an opportunity for Councillors to take part in small group training and develop personally what it means to be a Labour & Co-operative Councillor. There will be an opportunity to meet key figures within the co-operative movement, hear about best practice and have time to reflect on what you want to achieve personally.

"I thought it was a valuable and worthwhile experience."

"Thanks for a great weekend! I really enjoyed it and found it useful."

"Really enjoyed the weekend and thought it was a useful opportunity to meet with other Councillors from around the country. I enjoyed hearing from others about the work they’d been doing in their patch to implement co-op ideas. Certainly learnt a lot more about the movement."

"It was especially useful to get a perspective on Co-op Party leadership in local government. I’d suggest that this should always be on the agenda for future events."
