Building community power

We are looking forward to welcoming you to this year's Building Community Power: the Co-operative Party's Annual Conference and AGM - our showcase of co-operative politics and the largest political gathering of the year for the UK co‑operative movement.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for the whole of society and not least for Co-operative Party members and supporters who are rooted in communities. Yet it’s a time when society has come together, rediscovering the virtues of co-operation and mutual support.  This Conference will engage, inspire and develop tools for activism by exploring co-operative solutions to the challenges faced in our communities across the UK.

Due to the changing situation with Covid-19 restrictions, we will once again be holding Conference online only. Covid-19 has changed the way we all live and work and the Party feels we can accurately reflect the look and feel of Conference using some of the conferencing technology we have all become used too during the recent lockdowns. This is our opportunity to share our ongoing work to a larger audience than we have been able to do before, all from the comfort of own homes.
