Due to the ongoing pandemic the National Executive Committee of the Co-operative Party have taken the decision to once again hold the Annual General Meeting of Co-operative Party Ltd online only. Although the situation pandemic has improved, many members would not feel comfortable involving travel from all over the country if the virus is still in circulation – even with a reduced prevalence. Above all, your safety is our biggest priority and we want to hold our conference in an inclusive environment where all of our members can safely take part.
The AGM is open to all members of the Co-operative Party and will take place online Saturday 16 October from 9.30 to 12.30pm.
Party Councils and Subscribing Societies have been invited to send delegates to attend and vote. If you are interested in being a delegate please contact your branch secretary or local organiser.
This online event will also incorporate a session whereby the votes on policy, organisational motions, rules changes, membership subscriptions and the Conference Arrangements Committee (that are normally held during Conference) can take place.
Ideally delegates should make themselves available to take part in our online Conference policy debates the preceding weekend but also the AGM & Conference Voting on Saturday 16 October.
More information on the event will be made available here shortly.
