North West Regional Conference

On Saturday 1st February 2020, the Co-operative Party's North West regional conference will take place at the Old Fire Station, Salford.

There will be a particular focus on some of the big challenges our economy and communities face across the region, a spotlight on policy, as well as showcasing  co-operative solutions that can be expanded and supported to build the fairer future we so desperately need.

Sessions and Speakers:

  • 10:30: Welcome and introduction (Gary Booth, Co-operative Party NEC Representative for the North West).
  • 10:45-11:45: Policy Debate 1: Connectivity - Transport and Telecoms. With:

  • 13:15: Lunch(a sandwich lunch is included with your registration fee)

Travel

The Old Fire Station is situated in the University of Salford Campus opposite Peel Park (off the A6).  The  best way to travel to Salford is by train, metro or bus.  The nearest train station is Salford Crescent.

Registration

£10 (£5 concessions), which includes a sandwich lunch.

This event is open to non-members, so please share with friends, Labour Party and trade union colleagues. You must register in advance to secure a place.
