Our Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire Co-operative Party is holding a mini-conference in Stevenage on Saturday 15 September.

10am to 3.30pm  includes refreshments

At Daneshill House Stevenage SG1 1HN

Alex Mayer, East of England MEP, will open the Conference with a keynote speech on Brexit with reference to modern-day slavery and how the EU is tackling this issue.

Co-operative Party’s James Butler will also speak on Modern Slavery and what we can do.

The day will then offer an interesting agenda with excellent speakers on a wide variety of topics including:

  • Co-operative Education – College & Schools – Co-operative Schools Society

  • Nic Bliss from Confederation of Co-operative Housing

  • Credit Unions

  • Co-operative Councils Innovation Network

This event is open to members of the Co-operative Movement and Labour Party . There is no cost but please be sure to book your place(s) so we can ensure we have sufficient refreshments for everyone. If you know of someone else who might like to join us please encourage them to book.

The venue is a very short walk from Stevenage Railway Station.
