SUMMARY:Greater Manchester Co-operative Party meeting
DESCRIPTION:  \nI have arranged a Zoom event on Wednesday 10 February at 7 pm \nIt is for all members but particularly of interest to supported candidates and councillors. \nThe event is to encourage supported councillors and candidates to consider how they can influence policy within their Labour Group and the council when they are elected. \nWe will be hearing from Cllr Sean Fielding (Leader of Oldham Council); Cllr Angeliki Stogia (Deputy Portfolio Lead for Community\, Voluntary\, and Co-ops at the GMCA); and Cllr David Meller (Co-operative Councillor in Stockport). \nWhen the next local elections are held we are expecting to increase the number of supported councillors. We want to provide an active network to support each other\, provide ideas and information across the area so that the cooperative ideals are spread further and adopted. \nWe want to see Labour and Co-operative councillors making a big impact in local government. \nThe link for the event is below \nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcldu6prDooGtw44Yip8ObaTQ_Q8NGrmTbv \nInterested members need to register and no password is required to take part. \nI would be grateful if you can  circulate this to supported candidates and councillors in your branch and other interested members \nYours in co-operation\, \nAnne \nGreater Manchester Co-operative Party.
