Network Committee Elections

If you are a member of one of the Party’s Networks – Women’s Network, BAME Co-operators, (dis)Ability Network or LGBTQ+ Co-operators, and joined the Party before 8 December 2019, you could seek election to one of the 12 places on each of the new Steering Committees.

In order to be eligible to vote in these elections, you will need to complete our equalities monitoring survey so we can make sure our records are up to date.

If you are interested in seeking election to a role, please find more information on the application process in the links below:

If you are a member of more than one network, you may nominate yourself for more than one steering committee/council, but you must complete a separate nomination form for each.

If you are unable to complete a written form please contact us by 31 August and we will assist you. If you need to submit the accompanying statement by video or audio you will find guidance here or on the nomination page.

After the closing date for nominations – 12pm on 7 September – all members of the networks will be able to vote for twelve members of their steering committees or councils. If you are a member of more than one network, you will be able to vote in each. Look out for information about the voting process in September.

Elections to the Youth Committee took place in 2019. You can see the list of members here.

If you have any questions about these elections, please contact Karen Wilkie.
