Are you a member of one of the Co-operative Party Equalities Networks and want to play a key part in the future of our party?
Whether it's policy development, attending or organising events, raising awareness of the issues that matter to you or taking the next step in getting more involved in the Co-operative Party - we've got an opportunity for you!
If you want to get more involved in the Party’s Equalities Networks – Women’s Committee, BAME Co-operators, (dis)Ability Committee, LGBTQ+ Co-operators or Youth Committee, and joined the Party before 31 January 2024, you could seek election to one of the 12 places on each of the new Network Committees.
You can find out more about each committee and the work they've been championing on each of their pages.
If you are interested in seeking election to a role, please find more information on the application process in the links below:
You may nominate yourself for more than one steering committee/council, but you must complete a separate nomination form for each.
If you are unable to complete a written form please contact us by 1 December 2024 and we will assist you. If you need to submit the accompanying statement by video or audio you will find guidance here or on the nomination page.
The closing date for nominations is 12pm on 1st December 2024, and voting will start later in December
If you have any questions about these elections, please contact networks@party.coop.
