Campaign briefings

During the local election, we'll be focused on four themes:

  • Local power: highlighting the historic investment in community-owned energy through Labour's Local Power Plan.
  • Local ownership: making the case for a stronger Community Right to Buy and protecting the assets that matter most to local people.
  • Local wealth: reimagining local economies and high streets to make sure they are owned by, and work for, the communities they serve.
  • Local pride: showcasing Pride in Place and how communities are being given the funding and control to shape and improve their local area.

As a candidate, you can read our candidate briefings which explain these four themes and include top lines for use on the doorstep and on social media, alongside social media graphics for you to download.
