It's time for a Right to Food in Scots Law

Rhoda Grant 9 Mar 19 i

Too many people in Scotland are struggling to feed themselves and their families, but food poverty is not getting the attention it sorely needs from the Scottish Government.

In one of the wealthiest nations in the world, no one should go hungry. That's why Labour & Co-operative MSP Rhoda Grant has lodged a new Bill in Holyrood to enshrine a Right to Food in Scots Law, to help end hunger in Scotland.

The Scottish public agrees: recent polling shows an overwhelming 81% of people think there should be a legal Right to Food.
