To be eligible, you must:
If you are unable to complete the form on-line, please email networks@party.coop by 1st December 2024 so that we can arrange to complete this by phone before the closing date.
You may complete the statement (up to 300 words) in writing or by audio or video. Guidance on doing this is here. If you choose to use more than one format, the content for each must be the same.
Elections are taking also place for the (dis)Ability, BAME, Youth and LGBTQ+ committees. You may put yourself forward for more than one committee but, if so, you must declare this on each form and complete a separate form for each election.
Once verified as a candidate after the close of nominations, the candidates’ information will be published on the Party’s website and you may also promote yourself on social media.
You may not distribute any other materials, printed or on-line.
Candidates may not use access to the Party’s membership or networks data to promote their candidacy, nor may any other member do so on their behalf [this is to ensure a level playing field for all candidates and to protect members’ data under GDPR].
Make sure your details are up to date by filling in our Equalities Survey.
