We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team and support the work of the Party and our elected representatives as a paid Campaigns Intern with Co-operative Party Youth.

The role:

The Campaigns Intern will work with the Co-operative Party’s staff and elected representatives to help deliver campaigns, carry out research and support the Party’s efforts to promote co-operative politics. This role will be a great opportunity to develop transferable skills including research, campaigns and communications.

Person Specification:

• The successful candidate will have experience of campaigning in either a paid or voluntary role and be able to demonstrate their impact.
• They should have good communication and IT skills, social media experience, be able to work as a part of a team and on their own initiative and able to complete tasks within a deadline.
• They will also be passionate about delivering a fairer and more co-operative society and be committed to the values and principles of the co-operative and labour movements.

Location: London

Salary: London Living Wage (£9.15 per hour)

Length: one month, starting asap
