[/alert] To change the world we would provide: Tax breaks to large companies that lend to start up companies at a low interest rate. WHO? Institutional investors and Pension Funds WHAT? They would lobby large companies to lend money at low interest rates and supply expertise to small companies. WHY? It May give small companies more chance of being able to survive and prosper through having low interest rates and expertise in management. The large companies may benefit through the start up companies becoming part of their supply chain. HOW/The ask: Through motions at pension AGMs and investor AGMs. They could threaten to withdraw money from the companies This a campaign proposal from a CAN event and does not necessarily represent current Co-operative Party policy or endorsement.
