Rachael gave a fascinating and wide-ranging speech, followed by a lively question and answer session. She welcomed all questions, including topics as varied as Brexit, Children’s Services and Housing. Eileen Driver, Chair of the Richmond & Hambleton Co-operative Party Branch, said “It has been inspiring to celebrate the last 100 years of Co-operative Party achievements and to know the party is in good shape and campaigning vigorously for fairer local economies and community-led housing. Rachael has challenged us to go out and create local cooperative solutions.”
