In relation to today’s publication of the IICSA report: the Co-operative Party has a clear safeguarding policy available within our Rule Book, which is linked to on every page of our website. You can read the full safeguarding policy here.

Our updated safeguarding policy was published in October 2018 and has since been available online and distributed at events such as our annual conference, as can be seen here.

As a result of all Co-operative Party elected politicians also being Labour Party representatives, they are also subject to the Labour Party’s safeguarding policies and procedures which are found on the Labour Party’s website here.
