On 2nd March Stan Newens a Co-operator passed away. Stan was a lifelong campaigner. He was a Labour and Co-operative MP from 1964 to 1970 and 1974 to 1983, and an MEP from 1984 to 1999.

Stan was active in the Co-operative Movement for most of his life.
