Our school system is facing a crisis – how can our co-operative values and principles help solve some of these challenges?

Join Co-op Party members at this special one day conference to discuss the issues, and help shape the Co-operative Party’s national policy on education which will be debated at Conference in October.

Sessions include:

  • The challenges facing schools following the General election
  • Meeting the challenges – Co-operative solutions Co-operative schools in Devon
  • Leadership in Co-operative Schools
  • Learn to Live – a co-operative approach to Special Education
  • Co-opetive education – The challenge for governors and parents

Speakers include: Cllr Chris Pemberthy (Chair, SW Peninsula Co-operative Party); Cllr Hannah Packham (Exeter City Council & NUT Regional Officer); Julie Stuchberry-Ullah (Associate, Co-operative College); Sandra Jones (Principal, Tavistock College); Saxon Spenca & Jill Grainger (Governors, Learn to Live Federation); and Cllr Emma Morse (Exeter City Councillor & School Governor).
