We want to do more to ensure that women in the Party come forward and are selected and elected. We are holding the first of our training days for potential Parliamentary Panel candidates on Tuesday 16 August in St. Andrews. This will include training with the Labour Women’s Network; and briefings by our Parliamentary Officer and one of our current MPs. The cost will be:- Day rate only – LWN members £5 Day rate only – non-LWN members £20* Dinner, bed & breakfast (Mon) – LWN members £50 Dinner, bed & breakfast (Mon) – non LWN members £65* * Includes one-year’s membership of Labour Women’s Network. If you are registered as a delegate for Summerfest, you will only have to pay the day rate. We can’t help with travel costs, but your local branch or party council may do. There are still places left – to register, complete the Training Registration Form – St. Andrews and return it by Monday 1 August. If you can’t attend this session, we will be arranging another on Sunday 11 September, in London.
