The meeting will include a presentation from James Moorhouse of Porchlight, an Executive Committee report, information from our branches and an update on Co-op Party Conference due to be held in October.
Refreshments will be available and we will have a raffle.
Porchlight supports people who are rough sleeping to get off the streets and into accommodation. They go out early mornings and look for and engage with rough sleepers, identifying their needs in order to find them the best solution to moving away from the streets. They help people with a range of complex needs from substance misuse to mental health issues and learning disabilities, debts and relationship breakdowns, always with the aim of improving their situation and stabilising their lives.
