Though councils don’t have to produce annual transparency statements, it is seen as good practice.

The LGA have a produced information and an ‘Aide Memoire’ to help councils.

Tiscreport.org has a Modern Slavery Act Compliance Tracker which now includes local authorities.

The Anti-Slavery Partnership Toolkit is being trialled.

This toolkit is a collaborative project between the Office of the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner and The Rights Lab at the University of Nottingham, with the support of the Wales Anti-Slavery Leadership Group and the Home Office.

The toolkit is intended to support the work of anti-slavery partnerships including a partnerships checklist to assist in planning and reviewing partnership activity, a governance library to improve accountability and performance and a UK Training Library.
