Co-operative Party members are invited to this online event highlighting the annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities, established by the United Nations to raise awareness about the challenges faced by persons with disabilities and to promote their full and equal participation in all aspects of society.
We are delighted to welcome Nathan Oswin – TUC lead for the Covid Inquiry – as he speaks about the inquiry and how Covid-19 has affected disabled people and their families. Nathan will be joined by other guest speakers as they discuss what future governments can do regarding Covid-19 to maintain the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals for Disabled People.
