We’re kicking off our election campaigning in the East Midlands with a campaign day in Derby on Saturday 23rd March. Our East Midlands Campaign Launch is your chance to hear from some fantastic Co-op speakers, meet members from your region, then get out on the doorstep and campaign for our Labour & Co-op candidate, Baggy Shanker.
Don’t worry if you’re brand new or need a refresher: you can get in-person training on doorknocking and how to have effective conversations on the doorstep, so you can help us in the vital year ahead.
We’ll be meeting at 2pm at the Derby West Indian Community Association (DWICA), Carrington Street, Derby, DE1 2ND. A light lunch will be provided.
Don’t forget: if you’re free in the morning, we’re also encouraging co-operators to join the amazing Catherine Atkinson and the Labour team in Derby North ahead of our afternoon session. Meet us at 11am the Mackworth Estate Community Hall, Prince Charles Avenue Street DE22 4FN.
