The year ahead is going to be an important one for the co-operative movement as we work towards electing a Labour & Co-operative government in May and the implementation of changes to the structure of the Co-operative Group.
The South West weekend school will take place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 January 2015 at Brunel Manor in Torquay – day tickets start from just £10. This is an opportunity for co-operators from across the country to come together and discuss key issues such as the general election, devolution and the future of the movement. There will also be workshops on training, campaigning and playing a greater role within the Party.
Speakers include Adrian Bailey MP (Chair, Business, Innovation and Skills Committee), Rt Hon Alun Michael (Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales) and Luke Pollard (Labour & Co-operative PPC for Plymouth Sutton & Devonport).
