On Thursday 6th May, over 85% of voters in England will be able to vote for a Labour and Co-operative Candidate in crucial local government, mayoral, and Police and Crime Commissioner elections.
In the run up to polling day, we need to do our part to reach as many voters as we can so we can help get fantastic co-operators elected in every community.
This Wednesday, the Co-operative Party invites members to take part in an online ‘Zoom’ networking event and phonebank supporting our candidates nationally. You’ll get to hear from some of our fantastic representatives in local government across the UK about Labour & Co-operative plans to halt the decline in our high streets and town centres. Apart from the outgoing pandemic forcing us to stay home and close up shops, high streets are facing a litany of challenges. However, the power to protect and revive them is in our hands and we’ll hear more on how tjos is being tackling in different communities.
Following this discussion, we’ll go to our phones and hold a joint phonebank using the Dialogue system, to support our fantastic candidates across the country.
Dont worry if you havent used Dialogue before, as we’ll run a short training session… although do note the information below.
