You are invited to hear from and join in conversation with the Leader of Greenwich Council, Labour and Co-operative’s Cllr Anthony Okereke and Cllr Mariam Lolavar, as we delve into the work of the Greenwich Co-op Commission.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich launched its ‘Together for Greenwich: Co-operation for the Future’ report in February 2025. This was the Greenwich Co-op Commission’s report which the Co-op Party supported the Royal Borough of Greenwich with producing, and specific work and outcomes on co-op business growth, social care and community energy including a £1m Community Energy Fund.
Nearly eighteen months on, we’re delighted to welcome two of the councillors who led on this work to reflect on the work of the commission itself, collaborating with key partners, learning from other councils, implementing the recommendations within their council, and of course – how it has gone since.
Do you want to setup a commission at your council?

We look forward to seeing you.
