Labour & Co-operative Government’s have a strong tradition of promoting animal rights and welfare when in Government, most famously with the fox hunting ban in 2004.
With climate change increasingly impacting biodiversity across the world, we will hear from Mark Glover of Respect for Animals and Nicki Brooks of the Labour Animal Welfare Society on how the next Labour & Co-operative Government can promote animal rights and welfare in the future. We will also hear how co-operators can get involved in promoting animal welfare.
