Co‑operatives Fortnight (Co-ops 14) is organised by Co‑operatives UK on behalf of the Movement. Sponsored by some of the UK’s largest co‑operatives. The Co-op Group, Central England, Channel Islands, East of England, Midcounties, Scotmid and Southern Co‑operatives.
Co-ops 14 is an annual event leading up to International Co-ops Day, which is always the first Saturday of July, that itself has been held since 1923, and is a recognised United Nations declared day.

Over the two weeks there is activity between and by co-ops across the country. We use this opportunity to inform and educate the Movement itself, and to promote Co-operation to the wider public.

Due to Covid-19 the theme has been changed, https://www.uk.coop/fortnight

The theme for 2020 is #KeepCooperating, to harness the changed behaviour that has been seen during the COVID19 pandemic, and encourage people to Keep Co-operating. We will :-
Showcase the different ways that Co‑operatives, and people in your community have worked together during this awful pandemic.
Explain the Co‑operative Values and Principles. That they can be used not just in times of crisis, but always.

The ask to members;

is to encourage people to continue to co‑operate, and build on the work done and yet to do.
