All Co-operative Party members are invited to join with our Muslim members in this online event to celebrate Iftar and the ritual breaking of the daily Ramadan fast. Hear from a series of speakers – including the Co-op Party’s General Secretary Joe Fortune – as they speak on a personal basis about what Ramadan means to their families, its importance and the breaking of the fast.
All families are welcome to take part in this Zoom event from 8pm onwards and we have invited an Imam to lead the prayer. It will finish promptly as sunset is due at 8.38.
