The next Leicester Branch Meeting will be held on the 10th September 2019 at the East West Community Centre, LE3 0GT in Leicester at 7.00pm
Guest Speaker is Councillor Danny Myers, Assistant Mayor at Leicester City Council.
Content of his presentation within the Key Policy areas of the Co-operative Party:
Danny will be addressing all three issues of Procurement, Community and Environment through the idea of inclusive growth, community wealth building and how the council plays a central role in supporting that across Leicester. There are environment elements to this approach inevitably – growth has to be sustainable and we have also established in-house energy and housing companies and he will explain their approach there too.
