Join us on the morning of Saturday 19th June to discuss “who owns your high street” as part of new campaign work on community-led high street revival – looking at bottom up solutions to reinvigorating town centres. We want to build on the successes of communities in places like Dumfries and Plymouth to empower communities to take ownership of empty shops and breathe new life into their neighbourhoods.
Speaking at the event are Anneliese Dodds MP (the Labour & Co-operative Shadow Chancellor), campaigning organisation Power to Change, council leaders, metro mayors and members of Labour’s new High Streets Commission, as well as representatives of community and co-operative ventures.
The conference will take place virtually, streamed live on our online conference platform and on YouTube.
More details including the programme and information how you can register to take part will follow.
