Co-op Party Training: Digital Campaigning

Digital Campaigning

Running visible and effective local campaigns today means more than delivering messages on the doorstep and through the postbox. It also means delivering messages online, in the spaces where voters are increasingly spending their time, engaging with communities, and consuming news and opinions. Campaigning using digital should be an integral part of every local Labour & Co-operative campaign.

With the General Election on the horizon in 2024, Co-operative Party members are invited to this online training event on digital campaigning. Hear from Georgia O’Brien, the Co-operative Party’s Head of Digital and Communications, on how you can work to use digital campaign tools with confidence, including:

  • How to effectively boost our campaigns, policies and candidates on social media
  • How to take and make effective photos and videos
  • Top tips on how to make the most of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp to extend your reach and mobilise members
  • Replying to comments and following-up local volunteer leads
  • Paid-for advertising and electoral commission rules
