Yorks&Humber Co-operative Party regional event

Join us in Doncaster on Saturday 4 July for a Yorks and Humber regional event — a day dedicated to the ideas, experiences and people shaping our region.

As part of the Co-operative Party’s summer series of regional in-person events, this will bring members together to share real stories from our communities and explore practical co-operative solutions to the issues facing national and local government today.

A recent member survey highlighted a clear desire for more local activity — and this event has been designed with that in mind. We’re building a programme that reflects what matters most to our members in Yorkshire and Humberside. This is your opportunity to help shape the conversation and ensure the priorities of your community are heard.

Programme highlights:

• Opening keynote to set the political context and themes for the day,
• In-depth campaign training sessions, on issues that matter most to us,
• “New member” welcome session for those who have recently joined and want to get more involved,
• Practical training for role holders, covering topics such as chairing meetings effectively and managing branch finances,
• Branch development session focused on strengthening and growing local branches,
• Next steps with a focus on organisation, next steps, and how to stay involved.
