Briefing:Reminder: deadline for 2018 policy process From: benwest For attention of: All Party Officers Published: 30th May 2018 Last updated: 30th May 2018 Printed: 22nd November 2024 Other formats: Print With a month to go until the deadline for submissions to this year's policy consultation on Europe and the Economy, we've made it easier than ever to organise a discussion within your local party. Since launching this year’s policy consultation process earlier in the year, we’ve received dozens of submissions from local parties and individuals. With the 30th of June deadline for submissions fast approaching, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to submit your ideas, and we’re particularly keen to ensure members have the chance to have their say via their local parties. There’s still just enough time to organise a policy discussion or meeting of your local party, and we’ve produced some tips for organising a policy discussion here. And to make your meetings even more useful, our Policy Officer, Anna Birley has produced a pair of ‘policy discussion papers’. These are easy-to-print meeting resources which set out the context for the topics being discussed, as well as a series of prompt questions which can help to guide your conversations. 2018 Policy Discussion Paper – An Economy Where Wealth and Power Are Shared 2018 Policy Discussion paper – Britain Leaving the European Union We hope you find these a useful resource.
