Information on changes to our events programme for 2024…

We are delighted to relaunch our ‘Co-op Party Live’ online-only events programme, with weekly member events taking place on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

In the lead -up to the next General Election, ‘Co-op Party Live’ online-only events will

• update and inform our members about the Party’s key policy objectives; focusing on 4 main areas – Co-operative Growth, Local Ownership, Community Energy and Retail Crime.
• promote Labour’s endorsement of these commitments under a future Labour & Co-operative government
• Give members and officers the chance to up-skill with useful campaigning tools and advice on best-practice, covering digital campaigning, door knocking and running an online and/or paper board; phone banking and mobilising members
• Meet and support your local Labour & Co-operative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC)

Held at 6pm on Zoom, these online-only events will feature speakers including Labour & Co-operative elected politicians, policy experts, and industry representatives from our partner organisations who will highlight co-operative solutions to our policy commitments and answer and clarify any questions you may have.

The Co-operative Party NEC has taken this decision to move all events to online-only in order to free up time and resources for local and General Election doorknocking, campaigning and getting Labour & Co-operative candidates elected to power.  We will continue to send weekly email alerts reminding you of all upcoming events and we look forward to you joining us at them.  If you have any questions do contact me on events@party.coop
