Michael Bell, who was elected in 2023 as one of the two members representing England North (NE & Cumbria, North West and Yorkshire Regions) stepped down from the NEC and a by-election has been held. Fifteen candidates were nominated and, following the close of ballot on Friday 3 October, Tom LaingĀ (North West North Party) was elected. Tom will serve until the end of this current NEC term next June, then early in 2026 elections will be held for the full NEC for 2026-29. For more information Karen Wilkie Board Secretary
