Join representatives from the Labour Hunger Campaign and councillors from Hackney and Suffolk about how they’re campaigning to tackle food insecurity and deliver food justice. Jane Middleton (Labour Hunger Campaign) will cover the importance of food action plans, Cllr Chris Kennedy will address how a Labour controlled council is working with its food partnership and creating a food action plan, and Cllr Jack Abbott will tell us how the opposition Labour Group persuaded the ruling Conservative Group to accept their proposals on food justice.
