Join fellow Co-operative Party members at the ‘Put it to the People March’, which will see hundreds of thousands of people marching on Parliament to demand a final say on Britain’s departure from the EU.
Last October at Co-operative Party Conference delegates voted to back a referendum on the terms of Brexit. With the march being held just days before the government’s intended departure date, it may be our last opportunity to put that policy into practice.
The route of the march runs through Central London from Park Lane to Parliament Square, with a meeting time of 12 noon for a 1pm start.
Co-operative Party members will be assembling halfway along Park Lane at the corner of Mount Street (nearest Underground: Marble Arch), from 11:45, before moving into position as part of the march itself at 12:30.
We’ll have banners and flags, and you’re very welcome to bring your own too.
