Credit unions are co-operatives owned by their members and provide fair and ethical financial services in local communities across the world.
There are more than 1.2 million members of Britain’s 362 credit unions with total assets of £1.26 billion. They provide a range of services including savings and loans at affordable prices – many credit unions are now also expanding and offering other products like current accounts, mortgages and ISAa.
