100 years ago, hundreds of co-operators from across the UK came together to create a political voice for co-operatives. Throughout 2017, the Chesterfield Co-operative Party will be celebrating the Party’s centenary with a programme of events including rallies, film screenings, drama performances and a special ale produced by a community brewery to mark the Centenary!
To launch the programme, the Party’s General Secretary Claire McCarthy will speak to members about our proud history and our plans to make sure our voice reaches further than ever in 2017.
