The housing crisis is keeping young people off the property ladder, forcing children to grow up in poor quality cramped accommodation, and exploiting private renters by taking 50% of their take-home salaries. That’s before we look at the scarce availability of social housing and limited affordable housing.

So how do we utilise Co-operative ideas to tackle these issues? What is co-operative housing and what can we learn from it? How can we as the Co-op Party put forward policy, in the current climate, that evens out opportunity and access to good quality, affordable housing?

Come along to hear from those already working within housing policy and contribute your ideas to our round-table.

If you have any questions do get in touch with Ria Bernard at women@party.coop
