It is our favourite time of year again, Co-operatives Fortnight!

It is a chance to show people what co-operation is and why it is an altogether better way of doing business. As Convenor of the Cross Party Group on Co-operatives in the Scottish Parliament I submitted a motion to celebrate the co-ops across the UK that are doing just this; changing lives, changing communities and creating a better, more equal future.

The Scottish people overwhelmingly want to see a country that works together to deliver a more sustainable future. I believe that this bill will do just that, as well as providing an opportunity to create a fairer, more balanced country.

Why we need to “Report it to sort it”

Today is the first anniversary of Daniel Johnson MSP's Bill to protect retail workers coming into force. We are supporting USDAW's call to report retail crime to sort retail crime.
