POSTPONEMENT From: Issy Oozerally For attention of: All Party Officers, Society Secretaries Published: 24th April 2024 Last updated: 16th September 2024 Printed: 19th April 2026 Other formats: Print Due to the announcement of the date of the General Election on 4 July, the NEC has taken the decision to postpone the Co-operative Party Ltd's Annual General Meeting for 2024. This would have been held online on Zoom on Saturday 29th June but will now take place later in the year. We will advise you as soon as we can of the new date. Our AGM is one of the main ways that members can engage in the democracy of our Party, and will be open to members and delegates only. Although only delegates appointed to represent Co-operative Party Councils and subscribing Societies and affiliates may vote at the AGM, all individual members of the Party who joined three months prior to the date of the meeting are welcome to attend and to ask questions. As such, Conference will be postponed until after this takes place. Further details will be provided later in the year. In the meantime, the following urgent business of Conference is scheduled to take place immediately after this year’s AGM. Party Councils and Subscribing Societies are requested to send a minimum of two delegates – Party Council or Subscribing Society Secretaries can do this using this form. Please advise us of your delegates by two weeks before the date of the meeting at the latest. Member registration Members can register to attend the AGM by registering on Zoom here. Members must provide their membership number in order to complete registration: those unsure of membership numbers can either email membership@party.coop or receive an automatic replacement digital membership card containing your membership number by email here.
