The Government must go further to tackle financial corruption.

The recently introduced Register of Overseas Entities is a vital tool to crack down on money laundering in the UK. However the Government should go further, with the introduction of a second Economic Crime Bill in the next Parliament and arm Companies House with the proper support, resources and powers to deal with the scale of the problem.

As we reach the summer recess in Parliament it’s an opportunity to look back and celebrate some of the achievements and successes of the Co-operative Party in recent months and look forward to the future.
