Briefing:Update: Co-operative Party Ltd AGM 2020 From: Karen Wilkie For attention of: All Party Officers, Party Council Secretaries, Society Secretaries Published: 24th March 2020 Last updated: 5th May 2020 Printed: 26th April 2024 Other formats: Print The NEC had agreed to hold the Co-operative Party Ltd AGM and Annual Conference separately in 2020, and we recently asked your party to appoint delegates to the AGM in Birmingham on 6 June. Due to the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus outbreak, this has now been cancelled. The AGM will now take place in October. The decison has also now been taken to cancel the venue in Leeds for Annual Conference and plan for a new, on-line event over the weekend of 10/11 October. As the situation with COVID-19 develops over the coming months, the NEC will determine whether the AGM will be also on-line and we will keep arties and subscribing societies informed.
