Delegation information
An email will be sent to all nominated delegates outlining arrangements for Conference on 16 October.
Delegation meet ups – there is a full programme of events arranged for Conference weekend, so we suggest Party Councils/Subscribing Societies co-ordinate a pre-event Zoom meeting for delegates, ideally on the evening of Wednesday 13 November, where you can discuss your Party Council’s input into debates and discussion.
Community Britain: next steps – during the Saturday afternoon session of Conference, there will be an opportunity for delegates to contribute ideas and themes for our Community Britain series.  See the recent publications here:  Community Britain
Discussion & debate – Party Council’s who have made significant contributions to this year’s Policy platforms, will be approached to contribute to Sunday’s policy debates.
Rule changes, organisational motions and Membership subscription for 2026 – these will be circulated in advance.
Emergency motions – deadline for receipt of motions is Saturday 15 November at 5pm.  Rules for submitting Emergency Motions can be found on page 24 of The Rule Book

Additional Notes
CAC Elections: 2 vacancies – nominations due by 27 September  CAC Nomination Form. CAC governs the procedure of the business of Conference.  The CAC is composed of five persons: four elected by ballot at in-person Annual Conferences (to serve for 4 years) and a fifth member from the NEC. These are currently Lis Telcs (South); Jackie Jones (Wales) and Chris Wilson (NEC Representative).  There are currently 2 vacancies and we will be voting to fill these places.   Nominations should be received no later than 27 September via the CAC Nomination Form.  No more than one representative can be elected from any one region, so members in the South and Wales will not be eligible to stand this year.
Recognition Awards: Nominate a member who has made a significant contribution by 27 September Member Recognition Form
Code of Conduct: all attendees will be required to abide by the Co-operative Party’s Code of Conduct.  See here: Events Code of Conduct – Co-operative Party
Safeguarding: To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people involved in our activities, we require certain safeguarding information for anyone under the age of 18.  Any young person attending under the age of 18 must provide us with signed permission form from a parent/carer.   Issy Oozeerally as Safeguarding Lead, will contact all U-18s directly to provide them with this form.
